Men’s Shed building...

6/08/2008 5:00:00 AM
The Men's Shed goes from strength to strength in both membership and facilities, the most recent acquisition being a new wood turning lathe and chisels donated by a very generous local anonymous donor.

The Shed is planning to hold its official opening day on Saturday September 6 and a number of events are being planned to coincide with the opening at which all will be welcome. More information will be published soon.

The Shed (which is now clearly identified by signage) is located on the right hand side of Laidlaw Street and is the last building before you turn onto the road to Yass Junction Railway Station. The Shed is open on every Saturday from 11am until 3pm and will also be open next Thursday week (August 14 from 5.30pm) for conversation and music.
