Yass Junior Roo Huw Williams had the privilege of being one of two Sydney Swans mascots for the side’s match with the Western Bulldogs at Manuka Oval on Sunday.
Huw was given the job as a result of his passion for game of Australian Rules Football. Huw suffered a season ending arm injury, but still watches all his team’s games and even volunteers to be goal umpire.
“I was so excited to run onto the field with the players and be the Swans mascot. It was fun and I will never forget the experience,” Huw said of his moment in the limelight.
