17/09/2008 | On Sunday September 7, ten ladies converged on the old Worth Street course to contest a stableford competition. Isobel Burden took the cash with 38 points, marginally ahead of Julia Genders on 32.
12/09/2008 | For some lucky dads it was a Sunday roast for Father’s Day, but for generous Yass Golf Club sponsor Jamie Roche, it was a mouth watering rare prime golf display that won him the Bob Rogers Clothing Co Guzzlers Mug for September.
22/08/2008 | Numbers were down at the old Worth Street course on both Saturday and Sunday of last weekend. The weather was reasonable with a touch of cooling wind – or to a northerner it could have been an outright cold wind.

15/08/2008 | There is a lot of heart being taken by the old farming heads – at last a return to wild cold southern fronts racing through the southern part of the state and bringing moisture and the promise of more to come. But ideal for golf – one would not have thought so.
6/08/2008 | Last Wednesday 16 players hit off in quite pleasant conditions to play a stableford event. Some of the scores did not compare with the good weather and there were quite a few tales of woe at the 19th hole.

Last Saturday was tune-up time for the swingers with a stroke round as the Saturday feature event.
25/07/2008 | The promise of rain was paramount last Sunday when the Retravision sponsored Super Series Ambrose event was scheduled – and rain it surely did. Beautiful falls of 20 to 30 mil throughout the district took the monthly fall past 50 mil – a joy to all. Almost forgot, this is a golf column.
18/07/2008 | The Yass Golf Club’s historic Duddlestone Cup for 4BBB Stableford competition was seized with both hands by the out of town Weston father and son combination of Ashley and Jamie.
