Wee Jasper moto-cross ace Sophie Nesbitt has returned to the winners circle with first placings in the opening round of Rockstar Energy Drink NSW State Titles at Clarence and the first round of the NSW State Titles in Cessnock.
Sophie set a cracking pace at both meets and now boasts the state record time for senior females.
Sister Jess has also excelled over the past month finishing third in the Victorian State Titles, third in the second round of the Rockstar Energy Drink State Titles at Port Macquarie and equal third in Cessnock, marginally behind her young sister. Her impressive results have her sitting in fourth position on the overall state standings, an outstanding feat after crashing in the opening round of the State Titles.
Fellow Yass rider Matt Haskins, from Fast MX, has taken time out from his schedule to coach the girls over the past few months. Sponsors Joe's Motorcycles, Girl Rider Moto X team, Whites Race tuning, Yass Signs and The Layne Beachley Aim For The Stars have all contributed to their success.
